Mystery guests reveled at this years masquerade dinner dance on Halloween Eve. For some reason everyone was totally into dressing up. A beguiling masked geisha disguised herself as Kathy Davis, Mayor Auborn in top hat and cape looked like CK Chesterton, The Lone Ranger Roemen made off with a slinky white haired Tonto; Johnny Depp, was a horrible Pirate Jack or was that ARRRGGHH Dave Holman surrounded by mermaids, SHN gladiators and sirens. The person underneath a shroud of ghostly froth was revealed at nights end as none other than Lucie LaBonte.
The Heritage Society partnered with the Chamber of Commerce to host this fancy dress fundraiser. Laura Eades and Briana Goodwin organized the event. Their decorating team successfully took on the challenge of disguising the Community building into a softly seductive lounge for Port Orford's secret glitterati, many of whom are still undiscovered.
