The Port Orford Lifeboat Station was the venue for the Port Orford/North Curry County Chamber of Commerce History Mixer.  Representatives from the Point Orford Heritage Society, the Friends of Cape Blanco (the Historic Hughes House and Cape Blanco Lighthouse), the Joan of Arc vacation rental, and the Black Auto Museum made short presentations on their current operations and future plans.

Port Orford/North Curry County Chamber of Commerce Chamber President Ronn Kerr presented an overview of his vision for increased cooperation between the Chamber and the historical properties in the city and county.

The Point Orford Heritage Society took advantage of the History Mixer 2002 to unveil the new Port Orford Lifeboat Station Coffee mug - on sale now for $6.00 through the station gift locker (museum gift shop), by calling 541-332-0521 or emailing the station.  They will also be on sale at the October 5 Fundraiser Dinner-Dance and at the Port Orford Annual Christmas Bazaar on December 7.  They are going fast....
